Federal Bank
Federal Bank is a Private Sector, scheduled commercial bank with headquartered in Aluva, Kochi. The bank was founded as Travancore Federal Bank in 23 April 1931, then the bank name was changed Federal Bank Limited on 2 December 1949, after completing the formalities of Banking Regulation Act, 1949. It offers various accounts and deposits; banking services, loans; cards; and insurance and investments. The bank has 1252 branches 1696 ATMs and 231 Cash Machines as on 31 March 2018 and in abroad at Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Federal Bank operates through four segments: Retail Banking, Treasury, Corporate or Wholesale Banking, and other banking operations. The Retail banking segment provides lending and other banking services to individuals/small business customers, other than corporate/wholesale banking customers. The Treasury operations include trading and investments in government and corporate debt instruments, equity and mutual funds, derivative trading and foreign exchange operations on account and for customers and the Corporate/Wholesale Banking segment provides loans and other banking services to corporate and other clients. The Other Banking Operations segment includes para banking activities, such as third party product distribution and other banking transactions.
The Bank offer its customers a variety of services such as Internet banking Mobile banking On-line bill payment Online fee collection depository services Cash Management Services merchant banking services insurance mutual fund products and many more as part of its strategy to position itself as a financial super market and to enhance customer convenience.
