AIA Engineering Ltd Established in 1979 at Ahmedabad, INDIA and Mr. Rajendra S. Shah is the chairman of the company. It is specializes in design development manufacture installation and servicing of high chromium consumable wear parts (corrosion and abrasion resistant parts and mill internals) used in cement mining and thermal power generation industries. Vega Industries are the wholly owned subsidiary of AIAE. Vega is global distributor of AIAE products and providing sales and services in more than 120 countries outside India.


AIAE produces a range of high chrome mill internals, which are used as wear parts in the process of crushing/grinding in the cement, mining, utility, thermal power and aggregate industries. AIAE services include mill audits, turnkey installation and commissioning projects, stock assessment and management, and performance monitoring. AIAE currently has current capacity to manufacture 340000 MT of high chromium wear parts and pursuing capacity expansion program to reach 440000 MT. AIAE employs alloy-casting process for manufacture of the products, which entails designing and choosing the high-chrome alloy composition in relation to the end application. AIAE manufactures and supplies Grinding media, Shell liners and Diaphragms (partition wall, discharge diaphragms, drying chamber diaphragms and dopple rotator diaphragms) for tube mill applications. In addition to grinding media, it also provides shell liners for ball mills.

History- AIA Engineering Ltd was incorporated on March 1991 with the name Magotteaux (India) Pvt Ltd. On November 4 1978 Ahmedabad Induction Alloys Pvt Ltd promoted by Mr Bhadresh K Shah was incorporated. This company was merged with AIA Engineering on April 1 1991.The name of the company was further changed to AIA Engineering Ltd on May 2 2000 due to the termination of joint venture with Magotteaux International S A Belgium. In the year 2002 AIAE acquired the 100% stake in Vega UK. In Nov 2005 AIAE raise fund through IPO in Indian stock market with Rs.315 per share which is face valued of Rs.10.
