Adani Transmission Limited is good entity of the Adani Group, its a holding company. Its headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The company was incorporated on December 2013 to carry on the business of establishing commissioning setting up operating and maintaining electric power transmission systems. The Company operates as a power transmission company and is one of the largest private sector power transmission company in India with 14000+ power transmission length and 23000+ transformation capacity with a presence across the western and northern regions of India.
Adani Transmission is engaged in transmission of electric energy and trading of castor oil. The Company had 15 subsidiaries as on 31st March 2018. The company deals in business of purchase sale supply import distribute export or transfer / exchange and to deal as trader agent broker representative or otherwise deal in all forms of electricity and in other forms of energy from any source whatsoever both conventional and non-conventional and any other commodities products goods etc. The Company has four operational Transmission Systems that primarily serve the Northern and Western regions of India, and additional projects of approximately 1,700 circuit kilometers in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra under construction. It owns, operates and maintains approximately 5,050 circuit kilometers of transmission lines, ranging from 400 kilovolts to 765 kilovolts, with a total transformation capacity of over 12,000 megavolt ampere (MVA).
Adani Transmission projects under utilities include Mundra-Mohindergarh Transmission Line, Mundra-Dehgam Transmission Line and Tiroda-Warora Transmission Line. Its engineering, procurement and construction projects include Mundra-Zerda Transmission Line, Nalia-Bitta Transmission Line, Kawai-Chhabra Transmission Line and Shantigram-Transmission Network.
